Care & maintenance
Keep your motorcycle backpack ready for the next ride with material-specific cleaning, drying and storage guidance. Check the care instructions for your model before treating a coated fabric, washing a liner or working on a closure.

For routine dirt on the backpack, begin with the cleaning guide and the manufacturer's instructions for its materials. Empty the bag and identify removable components before deciding what can be treated together. Follow the drying and storage guide afterward: cleaning the outside is only one part of preparing a pack to put away between rides or at the end of a season.
Hydration equipment has its own care path. Use the reservoir-cleaning article for the bladder, hose and drinking valve rather than applying backpack-fabric advice to them. If water is appearing inside the bag, start with the leaking-reservoir guide to investigate the source. A wet compartment alone does not tell you whether the reservoir, a connection or the backpack needs attention.
For a removable waterproof liner, follow the inspection guide with the liner's own instructions available. Record where you see a problem and check the appropriate replacement or repair guidance before treating it. These articles help you select the next maintenance step; they do not replace model-specific cleaning restrictions or establish that an inspected item is waterproof.
