Model Compare

Compare capacity, water protection, weight and the important unknowns side by side.

Read the differences that affect your daily load

Select two models to place their documented specifications beside each other. Start with candidates you could realistically use for the same journey: two commuting packs, for example, rather than a minimal hydration pack and a large overnight bag. The table helps identify differences; it does not award a winner.

Capacity needs a second reading alongside water protection. The R22’s 22L total comprises an 18L waterproof main compartment and a separate 4L front pocket. The current R25 V2 divides 25L into 20L of dry main storage and a 5L front pocket. For vulnerable cargo, that comparison is a 2L increase in protected space, not 3L.

Treat an unknown value as a question to resolve, not as zero or evidence that a feature is absent. Manufacturer descriptions may identify a laptop sleeve without giving its usable dimensions, or hydration compatibility without including a reservoir. Follow the model guide for the scope and limitations behind a short table entry.

After reading the table, make the comparison with identical cargo over your riding jacket. Check the opening, closure, helmet clearance and items needed after parking. Include necessary accessories in the budget, and confirm the exact version and bundle in the offer before deciding.
