The mixed waterproof-fabric and water-resistant-zip wording leaves an important question for buyers: exactly which storage area and closure arrangement provide the advertised dry protection? Until that is confirmed for the item being purchased, do not assume every pocket provides the same protection or that the bag is suitable for submersion.

Ask the question that affects your load

If you plan to carry a computer or documents, ask the seller or manufacturer to identify the protected compartment and demonstrate its required closure. Request the relevant instructions, not simply a repetition of the product title. Then test whether the cargo fits while that closure is used correctly.
