KLIM Nac Pak: check whether the 3L reservoir is included

Two listings, two purchase configurations

The standard 3319-005 page specifies 13L storage and a separately sold reservoir. The 3499-001 Hydrapak page explicitly includes a 3L bladder but does not give total cargo litres. This guide’s model record follows the included-reservoir package and leaves cargo volume unknown rather than equating three litres of water with backpack storage.

KLIM confirms a removable water-resistant Tool Pak, molded goggle pocket, compression straps and a harness with sternum and side straps but no hip belt. Laptop suitability is described generally, without a screen-size limit. A waterproof main compartment is not established.

Hydration changes the starting load

Begin your fitting with the reservoir filled to the amount you actually intend to carry. Add the usual personal items and clothing, then check whether the bag closes and whether the hose can follow the intended routing. An empty-bladder demonstration cannot establish how the pack works at the start of a day outdoors.

Think about access when refilling. You should know which items need moving and where the wet reservoir or hose will rest during the process. If the same bag will carry electronics on another day, plan that change deliberately instead of assuming the two routines are identical.

Use tool organization for a defined kit

Identify the tools you genuinely need before filling the removable pouch. Arrange them so you can find the relevant item while stopped and keep hard pieces from pressing awkwardly through the pack. Having a tool pouch is useful organization, not a reason to carry every spare tool you own.

Try the loaded harness over your riding clothing. Check strap positions, helmet clearance and your ability to reach and turn your head while stationary. If you normally rely on a hip belt, assess this harness arrangement directly rather than assuming that familiar adjustment will be available.

The listing check before checkout

Match the exact package name and product code to the seller’s description of included contents. Ask for confirmation if a listing title promises a reservoir but its bullet points say otherwise. Compare the cost of the complete setup you need, including any dry protection for sensitive cargo. Choose the Nac Pak when its compact organization and hydration arrangement fit your ride, with the package contents settled first.
